Why Teams Choose Greenwood Pemberton

We solve the infrastructure bottlenecks that hold African businesses back when they try to grow.

Sub-second API responses

Our edge-optimised routing layer delivers API responses in under 400 ms from any major Ugandan data centre. No cold starts, no unpredictable latency spikes — just consistent throughput your team can build on and your customers will actually feel.

One platform, every integration

Connect your CRM, payments gateway, logistics provider, and internal databases through a single unified connector hub. Greenwood Pemberton supports over 60 pre-built adapters covering the most common East African SaaS tools, with a REST API for anything bespoke.

Enterprise reliability, startup pricing

We maintain a 99.95% uptime SLA backed by automated failover across two redundant nodes. Every deployment goes through a staged canary rollout so that your users never see a broken build, even while your team ships multiple times per week.

Scales without re-architecture

The Greenwood Pemberton runtime is horizontally scalable by design. Add workload capacity through the dashboard in minutes — no infrastructure tickets, no DevOps bottleneck. Teams that started with 1,000 daily requests have grown to 10 million without changing a single line of integration code.

“We migrated our entire payments reconciliation pipeline to Greenwood Pemberton in one weekend. Three months later we are processing USh 2.4 billion per month through the same integration — zero unplanned downtime. I did not expect a Kasese-based team to outperform vendors we had trialled from Nairobi and Lagos.”

Built for the Rwenzori Region, Designed for the Continent

Greenwood Pemberton was founded in Kasese — a city perched at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains — because we believe world-class engineering infrastructure should not require a Nairobi or Lagos postcode. Our cream-and-burgundy brand identity reflects the warmth of the region and the seriousness of enterprise-grade software: approachable on the surface, rigorous underneath. Every tool we ship starts from the real connectivity and cost constraints facing Ugandan developers, then is hardened until it performs under the demands of continental scale. We are not a proxy for a Silicon Valley product. We are infrastructure built here, for here, that happens to work everywhere.

Common Questions

Do you support MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money integrations?

Yes. Both MTN Mobile Money Uganda and Airtel Money are available as first-class connectors in the Greenwood Pemberton hub. You can trigger disbursements, query balances, and receive webhook callbacks for payment confirmation — all through the same unified API surface you use for every other integration.

What programming languages does your SDK support?

We ship official SDKs for JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Go. Community-maintained libraries exist for PHP and Ruby. Our REST API is language-agnostic, so any environment that can make HTTP requests — including low-code tools like Zapier and n8n — can connect to the platform without an SDK.

Where is my data stored, and is it compliant with Ugandan law?

Primary data residency is in our Kampala node. We comply with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019. Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Agreement. We do not transfer personal data outside Uganda without explicit customer instruction and a lawful transfer mechanism in place.

Can I trial the platform before committing to a paid plan?

Every new account starts on a 14-day free trial of the Pro tier — no credit card required at signup. You get full access to all connectors, the workflow builder, and the analytics dashboard. At the end of 14 days you can downgrade to Starter or upgrade to Enterprise; we will send you a reminder three days before.
